
This resource turns using data to revise models into a complete, ready to use review for Grade 9-12 earth science, covering the same idea from three different angles.
Students will answer questions such as "If a model predicting hurricane intensity is consistently off, what is the first step to take?", "If a model predicts higher sea levels than observed data shows, what should be the next step?", and "A student's model for predicting tides is based on outdated lunar data. What should they do?"
All three worksheets cover the same topic in different question styles. That means you can use one as a pretest, another for practice or homework, and the third as a follow up quiz, without students ever seeing the same question twice.
